Life... oh life...

This has been a very interesting weekend, and week... it's weird to be getting ready to move out... but it is a new and exciting experience.
In my life I have experience my share of happiness, and pain... heartache and everything that comes with it... But there is nothing worse than losing a loved friend, of family member. On Monday morning a good friend of mine was killed in a car accident up Provo Canyon. My prayers, love and support go to his family at this time. It is hard enough to lose someone, let alone close to the holidays.
I would just like to remind everyone how fragile this life is... Always tell people that you love them... It means the world. Even when you think it doesn't matter, you never know what moment will be your last. Let us all take the time to speak kinder words and to lend a helping hand. Especially in the holiday season, to remember why we celebrate. To remember our Brother and Savior who sacrificed everything in his mortal life to help us gain Eternal Life. Let us carry the spirit of Christmas with us all year round. It can only help us be better people, and to bless the lives of others.

I"M GROWING UP!!!

I am moving out!!! It is so weird to say that!!! Yet I cannot express how ready I am... I love my family, and I love to be with them. But we all know that there comes a time in life where you have to be on your OWN to really feel like an adult!!! And I have been blessed with an AWESOME job... that is the next update... and am now able to support myself! It is so exciting to think that in just a couple weeks, I will be an official, operating ADULT!!! It really will be a learning experience, and I am ready to feel truly independent! :)
I am also buying a car next week... ahh... :) but also exciting!! So I'm kinda just hitting everything at once!!!
Now, my JOB!!! I cannot tell you how much I love my job! It truly has been a blessing in my life so far. Since finishing my Nannying... I went full time at Namifiers, LLC. And I got promoted... :) So I am training on a machine called the Rotary engraver... The girl who runs it now is going to have a baby in February... so I will be a very important person in the company... as weird as it is to be in such an important position... it really helps me feel more confident about my abilities, I am learning more patience, and everyday I find that I am learning new things! Which is also great...
As excited and ready as I am for this change in life... it's also kind of ... what's the word!!! nerve wracking... I don't know... but it is going to be hard, which is why I am excited... for those of you who know me... you know I love a challenge!!!
Everything in life continues to get better and better!!! I never thought life could be so good... I'm sure I'll be saying that a lot in the next few months... I hope so anyway... I love you all!!!

Never a dull moment!!!

Today has been one of the best days ever!!! The kids have been so funny and entertaining!!

First Eden decided that she wanted to help me fold the laundry, she ended up trying on anything she could find... she ended up with the underwear!!! I swear she did this all by herself... it was the funniest thing.... I'm still laughing!!!

Then after lunch the boys decided that they wanted to sing me a song and it was so cute... i had to record it... :)

It just made me laugh... this is one of the many reasons I LOVE my job... but i only have 3 days left!!! I'm so sad that I wont get to see my kids everyday anymore!! It just makes me more excited to have my own children!!!

I love my job!!!

This is all four boys; from left: Ashton, Aaron, Gordon and Dallin. They love to go to the park and it is just down the street, so we go often...

This is Aaron

This is Eden... my baby girl.

This is Ashton, he is my buddy!

So for the last 3 months I have been working as a nanny for Ben and Audrey Jepsen. He was one of my seminary teachers last year. They have 5 kids: Dallin who is 9, Gordon who is 7, Aaron who is 4, Ashton who is 3, and Eden who is 1 and a half. They are such amzing kids and they are so helpful. We always have fun together and I have been enjoying every minute of this experience. It is definatley going to help me when I get the chance to have my own kids. Anyway, this morning Aaron was taking forever to finish his breakfast and he got up late, which resulted in him missing his bus. The thing that I laugh at everyday is that he always says that he doesn't want to go to school... but then we get him dressed and ready and then we sit and wait for his bus, and once he sees the bus he is alright and ready to go. He comes home everyday and tells me how much fun he had... and yet the next day he says he doesn't want to go. So today he got to sleep in and got an awesome breakfast, and he heard the bus (it stops in front of the house) and he ran to the window and said, "well, there goes the bus... that means I can't go to school." And I said, "If you dont go to school, what are you going to do??" And he sat there for a minute thinking... still not dressed and still eating. And he finally just got up and started getting his clothes on. I asked him what he decided and he said, "I decided to go have fun today." It just made me laugh because I know how much fun he has at school, and he has a great teacher. But since it's been cold outside he just wants to stay inside and watch cartoons, and it is sad to watch him just sit there. So the last few weeks I've been trying to come up with activities we can do that he enjoys... instead of sitting in front of the TV all day. He doesn't like to do things when he is asked so I just kinda give him the option, and let him decide. When it's warm outside we love to go out and play, but this weather is my favorite although it's not the best for playing. So I'm glad that he has the chance to go to school and learn all kinds of new things and play.

Friends...

Tonight I was blessed to be able to spend some time with my friends. Most of the time I take for granted the amazing friends I have been blessed to have. But tonight was awesome ... (for lack of a better word) We watched Kung Fu Panda, which is one of the greatest movies ever made. And just got to spend some quality time with my friends, whom I love dearly. I've been in this introspective mood a lot lately, and when you really start to analyze your life and how you feel about it, you start to appreciate what you do have a lot more. And I just needed to express my gratitude for everything I have been blessed with in my life thus far... which isn't too far, but hey... I've enjoyed it and I will continue to enjoy it... Next time you are feeling down, call a friend, go for a walk... or just watch a good movie, it does a soul good.

I'm a newbie... :)

I'm not much of a blogger, but people keep telling me it's worth it... so I'm giving it a try!
